About Giovanni Garcia Photography

Giovanni Garcia Photography was officially created December 2015 but Giovanni has been taking photographs and filming videos professionally for over a decade.

Giovanni is a first generation Mexican-American.  He went to Southwestern College (Winfield, KS) for my undergraduate degree in Communication emphasis in Radio/TV.  Giovanni graduated from Southwestern in 2009 and then went on to obtain my Masters in Communication from Wichita State University (Wichita, KS).

Starting as a Photojournalist for a Television News in 2008 at KAKE-TV, the ABC affiliate in WIchita, Kansas.  Giovanni worked at KAKE-TV for five years where he covered a variety of news with television reporters.  While working at KAKE-TV, he was also teaching Public Speaking classes for five years at Wichita State University as a lecturer.

In 2014, he decided to take a job offer as a Photojournalist at 41 Action News, the NBC affiliate, in Kansas City, Missouri.

From family portraits, head shots, engagement, proposals, weddings, senior portraits, boudoir, pet photography, landscape, real estate, and any other photo request you may need.  Videos for weddings, music videos, as well as promotional and commercial videos.  

Giovanni Garcia Photography is able and willing to travel outside of Kansas City for a photo/video shoot.  Name the job you need done and Giovanni Garcia Photography can do it for you. From portraits, landscape photography, professional portfolios, to weddings.  

We are also doing sports photography and videography for any high school student wanting to send a highlight reel to a college scout.  Not all college scouts can make it to every school in the country, so let us help you increase the chances of signing with a college sports team!

Giovanni has always had a passion for photography dating back all the way to when he was a child in his home town of Farmers Branch, Texas; which is a suburb in the city of Dallas, Texas.
